About Ina

Ina is a Nurse Practitioner with a deep passion helping people. She is a doctorally prepared nurse practitioner, dual board-certified as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) and Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AGACNP-BC).  She has also completed post-graduate certificate in Gerontology Healthcare. 

She has worked as a nurse practitioner in Internal Medicine, Neurosurgery, and Mental Health, utilizing her knowledge to provide a holistic approach and client-center integrative approach to psychiatric services that incorporate medications and prescriptions when appropriate, psychotherapy, lifestyle modification, and all aspects that encompass the patient’s wellbeing. 

She works with adolescents and adults, offering evidence-based assessment and treatment to her clients. She is an advocate of integrative and collaborative approach to care, working together with her clients and family members. She continues to extend her skills with multiple courses through lifelong learning.  Friendly and easy to talk to, Ina believes that there is no “one size fits all” treatment.  She encourages her clients to actively participate in their care.

Her approach to caregiving is enriched by her life experiences in Indonesia and the United States. She has traveled to various countries worldwide, which helps her think outside the box and creatively when working with her patients to help them reach optimal mental health and functioning. 

A fun fact about Ina: prior to her career as a nurse, she worked in STEM fields as a Computer Engineer, becoming the first female Microsoft-certified computer engineer and the first IBM Lotus Domino Engineer/Software Developer in Indonesia. Her Bachelor of Science in Computer Science was awarded by Binus University in 1996. 

As a nurse, Ina’s proudest moments come from patients who express that they feel seen and heard as valued person when they are in her care. She explains, “A patient who I once took care of came back three years later to say thank you. I felt that the effort and love I put into my work was valuable.”

Ina has an excellent reputation for resolving problems. She is adept at critical care and management with training in patient education and management. Self-directed and solutions-oriented, her effective communication skills, outstanding time management, and prioritization skills help her maximize patient care quality. She has been recognized by colleagues for inspiring team members to excel and encouraging creative work environments.

When not traveling and exploring the world, she enjoys being outdoors and photographing landscapes and nature.
