Why skydiving? Why Not?

They say that skydiving helps our body to release endorphins (the “feel good” hormone) and serotonin (the “mood stabilizer” hormone). As a result, we feel happier and less stressed. Well, certainly that was not the case before the jump. I felt my heart beat faster, my smile was a little bit forced, and my legs were stiff. What if I feel sick in my stomach?

When we exited the aircraft and jump down. I felt butterflies in my stomach for a few seconds and then, bam…. all I see was the beautiful, breathtaking view below. Floating in the air is fun and freeing. My instructor let me steer the parachute and made a 360 degrees turn which made my stomach a little bit queasy. After 10-20 minutes floating in the air, we went down and had a smooth landing. Overall, this is a very good experience.

Would I do it again? Hell, yeah, I would. Maybe next time it is going to be Everest Skydive.
